romantic interests はアメリカでは「恋愛対象となる相手」の意味で使われているようです。romantic interests と同じ意味を持つ言葉で love interest (love interests) があります。

Today we are going to learn 5 more phrases to talk about romantic interests.
今日は、恋愛対象についての話題で使える、さらに５つの英語フレーズを学んでいきます。

Hide! I just saw my ex boyfriend.
隠れて！私はちょうど元カレを見た

Ex is slang for past. So in this case, it means past boyfriend. You can use this for boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, and wife.
Exは過去のという意味のスラングです。なので今回の場合、それは元彼氏を意味します。このExは彼氏、彼女、夫、妻に対して使うことができます。

So it would be ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, ex-husband, and ex-wife.
だから元ボーイフレンド、元ガールフレンド、元夫、元妻と言えるでしょう。

I dumped him last week.

“To dump” is slang for “to break up”.
“To dump”は”別れる”のスラングです。

The difference is that “to dump” that you didn’t take the relationship seriously.
違いとして”to dump”は真剣に付き合っていなかった意味を含みます。

Or it means that you are a little angry or not happy with the person you broke up with.
あるいは、別れた人に対して、少し怒っていたり、良い気持ちではないことの意味を含みます。

It shows a negative perception of them. However, if you say, “He dumped me” it does not have the same nuisance.
これらのネガティブな感情を示します。しかし、あなたが「彼が私を振った」と言うときは、同じニュアンスではないです。

“Turn off” refers to something that you don’t like, or something you cannot stand. You find it gross or unbearable.
“Turn off”は、何かを好きじゃない、あるいは、何かを嫌で我慢できないという意味を表します。あなたが、キモイや耐え難いと思うことです。

“To catfish” means to use a picture on an online dating profile that is different from what you really look like.
“To catfish” は、出会い系サイトのプロフィールで自分の本当の見た目とは違う写真を使うことを意味します。

Because online dating is very big in American now, this is sometimes something that is a problem.
アメリカでは今、出会い系サイトは人気で、これは時々見られる問題です。

There was even a TV show about it called catfished.
テレビでさえ、なりすましはあります。

”To ghost” someone means to suddenly disappear, like a ghost.
”To ghost”は幽霊のように突然消えることを意味します。

For example, you stop sending them messages, and maybe ignore their calls.
例えば、メッセージ送るのやめたり、電話を無視したりとかです。

This is largely used in the dating world.
これは恋愛の世界でよく使われます。
