Hi everyone. My name is Stephanie and I’m one of the teachers on this channel. This is my introduction video. So, it’s nice to meet you. Let me tell you a little bit about me. As I said, my name is Stephanie and I’m from Vancouver, Canada. But now, I’m living in Japan.
In Vancouver I had two jobs. One was an English teacher. And the other was a photographer. I was an English teacher at a school that prepared students for the TOEIC exam. So if you’re studying for the TOEIC exam, I can help you. I taught two different classes at that school. One was vocabulary and grammar. And the other class was listening comprehension.
At my photography job, I would take pictures of new products for the company’s website. So every time my company released a new product, I had to take lots of pictures and then we would use those pictures for advertising or online shopping.
And before this, a few years ago, I also taught English in South Korea. I was teaching in an elementary school, so my students were very young children. They were very cute and I really enjoyed living and teaching in South Korea. It was a really great experience.
So next, I’ll tell you about my hobbies. Actually, I have a lot of hobbies. So first of all, I really like watching movies. I really love sci-fi or action-adventure fantasy movies. But, I also really enjoy comedies. I also really enjoy listening to music and I listen to music from all over the world. So please, give me your recommendations for music from your country because I really want to know what kind of music you listen to. So in the comments section below, please tell me your favorite artist or band from your country.
In my free time, I also like playing video games. I really like the Final Fantasy series and Pokemon. And when I’m playing with my friends, I like playing Mario Kart or Mario Party. And I also really enjoy photography so whenever I travel to a new city, I always bring my camera. And I take lots of pictures. I also play sports. My two favorite sports are badminton and snowboarding. And I heard that Hokkaido is very famous for snowboarding, so my goal is, one day, I really want to go snowboarding in Hokkaido.
